About William Hearn

William E. HearnWilliam E. Hearn
Co-Director of PraxisGroup International Language AKADEMEIA, LLC

In 2007, Mr. Hearn and his wife, Dr. Lizzie created a small academy, GrupoPraxis, in Bolivia, South America where he instructed students in how to pass the TOEFL iBT when he realized that not being able to a minimum score of 80 out of 120 was preventing very bright and promising students from pursuing their dreams and becoming happy successful adults.

At first, Mr. Hearn taught only the methods for earning high scores on the TOEFL iBT but quickly realized that students must also earn scholarship worthy scores on the ACT or SAT college entrance exams as well.
After spending hundreds of hours studying how these tests are designed and how the psychology of these tests is determined, he designed his own methods for the best approach to beating these tests. These proprietary methods have proven to work consistently for all students who practice and use them on their actual exams, and, as a bonus, these methods also work on other tests, exams, and homework that students have in high school and university.

In 2013, Mr. Hearn returned to the US with his family where he and his wife, Dr. Lizzie (Co-Author of “The TOEFL Master’s Guide” and “Stress Free ACT” Series) established the PraxisGroup International Language AKADEMEIA, LLC in order to better facilitate helping more students pass the ACT, SAT or TOEFL iBT tests with scores worthy of scholarships.
To date, Mr. Hearn has given over 16,000 hours of classroom instruction and has helped hundreds of students earn high scores on their college entrance exams.
Mr. Hearn is proud to state that, “All PGILA students attend the college or university of their choice.”
